Parents, assemble: Gabby’s Dollhouse is becoming a movie

If you have kids under eight and access to Netflix, chances are Gabby’s Dollhouse has already been playing on repeat in your home. And if you thought you could sing all the songs and name every character in your sleep, get ready—things are about to level up.

Because the popular series is being turned into a feature film—complete with cat-tastic mischief, brand-new adventures, and an extra sprinkle of glitter on the big screen.

From streaming hit to silver screen

After 11 full seasons of dollhouse magic and silly feline fun on Netflix, Gabby and her colorful crew are moving from your living room to the darkened movie theater. Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie will premiere in Danish cinemas on September 10, and the trailer—dubbed in Danish—is already out and ready to be watched (again and again).

And yes, it’s going to be cat-tastic.

A new adventure—with a new villain

In the movie, Gabby, Pandy, and the rest of the gang set off on a road trip with Grandma Gigi. But of course, things don’t go exactly as planned. In the middle of all the fun, they encounter the film’s brand-new villain: Lady Vera—an eccentric cat lady with a bit too much interest in Gabby and her dollhouse.

When the dollhouse ends up in Lady Vera’s claws, the race is on to get it back before it disappears forever.

Kristen Wiig as Lady Vera

The voice cast is getting a big-screen upgrade too. None other than Kristen Wiig (of Bridesmaids, SNL, and Despicable Me 2) voices the wacky Lady Vera in the original version. So this isn’t just a few bonus episodes—it’s Gabby’s Dollhouse like you’ve never seen it before.

Luckily, the original team from the series is also onboard for the film, so fans can expect the same warmth and charm kids already love—just with bigger adventures and cinema-ready production.

Mark your calendars

Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie hits Danish theaters on September 10, and there’s no doubt the popcorn will be flying as kids reunite with their favorite cats.

The Danish-dubbed trailer is out now—so grab the tablet and get the hype going. Parents, you know what’s coming.
